The INCOVALVE® Series 72 is a light-weight and compact non-return valve that is cost efficient and easy to install. It can be installed horizontally, or vertically when there is upward flow. The
superior quality superalloy springs ensure closure of the plates before flow reversal occurs, preventing slam and water hammer.
Typical applications include pump discharge lines, where it provides reliable backflow prevention and protects equipment from damage. It is commonly used to mitigate water hammer and reduce pressure surges in systems within the mining, HVAC, petrochemical, and utilities sectors. It performs well in clean media, and is not recommended for abrasive or particulate-laden fluids.
